Who we are
This site is a joint effort by
The company behind WhereLegendsBegin. com and CloudDwellers.BlogSpot.com
is JaRySa LLC (named for our three children Jacob, Ryan, and Sarah).
I am Professor Cloud Whisperer, Misty McMorph, and Stormy Water's human,
Gail M2 Poole. I type for them and thereby give them a voice. I also
do the talking for JaRySa LLC (family and friends make up the company).
This site was initially all about clouds until Professor Cloud Whisperer
and Stormy Water got interested in other things, too.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for you. Most likely you are like
us.
You are an accidental photographer. You like
to take pictures but you don't necessarily know how to get the best
shot. You take a million photos - most are pretty good, but every now
and then, one is absolutely stunning. Nearly everyone has that awesome
photo lying in a box or stuck in an album.
When people see it, they sigh and say things like Gorgeous, Cool,
or even Gnarly, Dude. If you'd like to submit a picture to us,
you need to send it to us in digital form, so if the photo was taken
before the day of the digital camera, scan it in on the highest resolution
possible and then simply read and agree to our terms
and email it to us at JaRySaLLC@gmail.com. You may be seeing it
soon on our site.
You are someone who writes for personal pleasure.
What we are looking for
This site is a celebration
of the good all around us and within us. All pictures and text must
be family friendly. We are looking for Cloud Dwellers, Hidden Matter,
and Naturelings. We want the Alphabet done in clouds or found in nature.
We love nature pictures that are universal and touch us all; we appreciate
nature pictures that are one-of-a-kind, and we are fascinated by nature
pictures with a twist. For example, see
'Southern Snow'.
Note:
- We accept no pictures with humans in them.
- We accept no pictures that violate our family
friendly policy.
- Submit picture files between 1.5 and 10 mb.
- We accept no pictures that have been 'doctored'
except to crop away unwanted portions and perhaps adjusting light
and contrast. We expect the photographer to add text explaining the
alteration of anything beyond the aforementioned - such as the adjustment
of color.
How to view Cloud Dwellers,
Hidden Matter, and Naturelings
If you would like to find the Cloud Dwellers,
Hidden Matter, and Naturelings on your own, click the link beside each
category ending with - Find Them. Take your time and search for
them.
If you would like to see Cloud Dwellers, Hidden
Matter, and Naturelings without having to think or search, click the
link beside each category ending with - See Them. There, you
will see the same picture that is in the - Find It section but this
time you will see beside it the same picture again with a tracing of
the Cloud Dweller, Hidden Matter, or Natureling. No need to search or
think; it's clear as a bell.
You can always go to the Cloud Dwellers, Hidden
Matter, and Naturelings - See Them and watch the slide show. It will
present each picture original with the tracing immediately following.
If you happen to see a picture of a Cloud Dweller,
Hidden Matter, or Natureling as you are browsing and you'd like to see
a tracing, all you need to type into the search is the name of that
picture followed by a space and the letters TR. This will pull
up a tracing of the picture you are looking at. For example, you are
looking at Angel
on Break, type in Angel
on Break TR ...and see what you get!
How to submit photos
After you have read and agreed to our *terms,
email your pictures to JaRySaLLC@gmail.com.
*Terms: By emailing your picture to JaRySaLLC@gmail.com
you agree that
1. You have all rights to the picture you are
about to email.
2. At the moment you submit your picture through
email, you forever relinquish all rights to the picture and give
all rights to the picture to JaRySa LLC and its owners.
3. You give us the right to use your name as
the photographer, if we choose to do so.
4. You certify you have all rights to any content
you submit to JaRySaLLC@gmail.com. At the moment you email visual,
textual, or audio content to JaRySaLLC@gmail.com all ownership of
and rights to that content belong to JaRySa LLC and its owners.
5. In the email that contains one
photo attachment in its largest digital form, but no larger than
10 mb, copy and paste the following statement. "By submitting
this photo to JaRySaLLC@gmail.com, I verify that I have read and that
I agree to The Terms and Agreement of WhereLegendsBegin.com which
includes that I have the right to email the photo either by having
obtained permission from another party or parties or by being the
photographer myself and that upon submitting the photo to JaRySaLLC@gmail.com,
I give all rights to the photo to JaRySa LLC to use online or offline,
in any form - in part or in whole - in any manner, in any medium,
for profit or not by JaRySa LLC, and with or without the name of the
photographer. I understand that I no longer have any rights to the
photo, nor to any profits from its use or sale, nor any say so in
how it is used."
6. If you are under the age of 18, you
must download and print this form, fill in the contents, have your
parent or guardian sign it and mail it to: JaRySa LLC, 3820 Ga Highway
257, Dexter, GA 31019 along with a typed copy of your writing.
Please also send in the digital copy of your writing through
email at JaRySaLLC@gmail.com.
Note: Photo uploads must be a minimum of 1.5 mb
- preferably larger. If your picture size will not make at least a clear
11 X 14, it may not be accepted.
How to submit Cloud Dwellers
- First read and understand "How to email
photos" above.
- It's very important when you email a Cloud
Dweller to JaRySaLLC@gmail.com that you email it and then also email
the tracing of that picture.
- We have the pictures on the site arranged in
alphabetical order so that if you give them IDENTICAL NAMES with the
name of the tracing of the original ending in "space TR",
they will appear side by side with the original coming first.
- Example: Goat Guru (the original) and
then Goat Guru TR (the tracing) You may want to enter the "Description"
of the tracing much like I do which is usually simply "This is
a tracing of (Name of original picture) by (Your User ID)".
- I and others will look at your pictures and
decide whether they will be placed on the site.
Do the Hidden Matter and Naturelings photos
work the same as the Cloud Dwellers photos?
Yes, I see you have caught on. Are you available
for hire?
How to submit writings
- Be sure that you have secured permission to
submit the writing or that you are the author.
- Read The Terms and Agreement of WhereLegendsBegin.com.
- Include with your submission, the true name
of the author as well as the true name of the submitter if they are
not the same. Identify which name is the name of the author and which
is the submitter.
- (Optional) If a picture on our site inspired
this writing, include the name AND photo ID number of the picture.
To see an example, view the Goose
Hollow entry.
- Copy and paste the following statement into
your email along with your writing. "By submitting this writing
to JaRySaLLC@gmail.com, I verify that I have read and that I agree
to The Terms and Agreement of WhereLegendsBegin.com which includes
that I have the right to email the written submission either by having
obtained permission from another party or parties or by being the
author myself and that upon submitting the writing to JaRySaLLC@gmail.com,
I give all rights to the writing to JaRySa LLC to use online or offline,
in whole or in part, in any medium, for profit or not by JaRySa LLC
with or without the name of the author. I fully understand that I
no longer have any rights to the writing, nor to any profits from
its use or sale, nor any say so in how it is used."
- If you are under the age of 18, you must download
this form, fill in the contents, have your parent or guardian sign
it and mail it to: JaRySa LLC, 3820 Ga Highway 257, Dexter, GA 31019
along with a copy of your writing.
- Email your writing and item #3 and the statement
in #5 above to JaRySaLLC@gmail.com. We hope you will include item
#4.
Encourage others to view your pictures
Let your friends know
through word of mouth, email, myspace, facebook, twitter, etc. that
your pictures are here on WhereLegendsBegin. Send your picture to them
from our site. When you click on a picture, you will see a "Tell
a Friend" button beside the picture. Go on...tell them. Encourage
friends to leave comments, quotes, captions and legends on your pictures.
How to order a print
Email us by using the Contact
button on the top left of each page and let us know that you would like
to order a print. Tell us which print (Name of photo and Photo ID) and
what size you would like. If it is available, we will return an order
form to you. You will need to mail the completed order along with a
check or money order to JaRySa LLC, 3820 GA Highway 257, Dexter,
GA 31019. We only accept checks and money orders. We do not
accept cash or credit cards. If a check is sent, orders are filled after
the check has cleared the bank.
Membership
You must have a membership in order to interact
with fellow site members and to leave captions, quotes, comments, and
your own legendary memories with the photos on the site. To receive
your free membership, go to the left column, under the Member Area
Login, click Sign Up! and complete the Sign Up process.
Your free membership has just been activated.

button at the top of each page. Each picture has a title in Bold, an
ID number, and the name of the person uploading the picture; include
as many of those three items in your report as possible. For example...
I'd like to Report Abuse on WhereLegendsBegin.com. Photo - The Dog
Walk. Photo ID - #1234. Photographer -John Doe.
